Raising the next generation of giant slayers.

At Shofar Kids, we believe that the God of David is the God of our children.

That’s why we’re passionate about raising a generation of giant slayers.

Children who know how to connect with God for themselves, who understand their identity in Christ, and who are confident in their Heavenly Father and His ways.

Our heart is simple: we want every child to know they are deeply loved by God. From that place of love, they can be fearless, joyful, and free to be themselves. Through age-appropriate teaching, worship, games, and discipleship, we create a safe and faith-filled environment where children grow spiritually while having loads of fun with friends.

Shofar Kids is led by Koba Henning, who carries a deep love for children and a strong desire to see the next generation walk fully in their God-given inheritance. She is committed to seeing young hearts and lives transformed for the Kingdom and believes that investing in children today shapes the Church of tomorrow.

Age Groups

We currently offer two age groups during our Sunday morning services:

3–5 years

6-12 years

Each group is facilitated by trained and caring leaders who are passionate about teaching children God’s Word in ways they can understand and apply practically to their lives.

What to Expect as a New Visitor

We want your first visit to feel easy and welcoming.

When you arrive, please register your child at the Youth Centre. The entrance is to the right of the main church. Your child will receive a small welcome gift and a name tag. One of our friendly hosts will introduce you to the teacher serving that day so you can feel comfortable and connected.

Before and after the lesson, children enjoy supervised free play – including pool tables, table tennis, foosball, drawing, and soccer, so be sure to dress comfortably. It’s a great time to build friendships and settle in.

The formal program begins at:

  • 08:00 (First Service)
  • 10:00 (Second Service)

We usually start with a fun group game involving all the children before moving into worship, teaching, and small group engagement.

After the church service, please collect your child from the Youth Centre.

Frequently asked questions

May siblings attend the same age group if they are not comfortable being alone?

Yes. For the first few visits, siblings may attend the same class.

If the younger sibling is very active or needs extra attention, we encourage you (or the older sibling) to sit with them in the 3-5s class for a few lessons while they settle in.

If you are willing to sit in for a few lessons, we can consider it. Please note that children must be potty trained. We do take them to the bathroom regularly.

You will be contacted via the number you provide on the registration form. You can also choose to be added to our Shofar Kids Parents’ WhatsApp announcement group to stay updated on all upcoming events.

Discipling the next generation

At Shofar Kids, we’re not just running a children’s program – we’re discipling the next generation.
We would love for your family to join us this Sunday.
